SUPPORT THE RED MILL

At the Red Mill Museum Village, history is more than objects in a display-it's a story of people, traditions and the connections that bind us together. We witness these connections in powerful ways, affirming our mission to preserve, share and celebrate the heritage of Hunterdon County while inspiring future generations.

We are eager to continue welcoming students, families and neighbors into this story. With your support, we can expand our programs, develop new exhibits and create meaningful opportunities for connection across our community.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteers have played a significant role at the Red Mill Museum Village from its earliest days. In fact, we could not have opened without their crucial volunteer contributions of time, ideas and skills! If you're interested in volunteering, please use the link below to submit an information form.

We are also seeking a limited number of individuals to join our Board of Trustees. Candidates should be passionate about supporting our mission and program goals of preserving the past, educating the present and preserving the future. If you have the time, talent or treasure needed to be an asset to our team of committed trustees, staff and volunteers, we'd love to hear from you.

Directors Council

Support the museum by providing your expertise!

If you are a local professional who would like to support the Red Mill Museum Village but don't have the time to commit to being a Trustee, our Directors Council may be the right fit for you!

The Directors Council serves as an advisory board sharing free of charge expertise from their fields. This team is made up of local professionals from carpenters to architects, from lawyers to electricians. We are in special need of those with historic preservation experience. They may be asked to attend an occasional meeting to advise on best practices for repairing an historic structure or weigh in on whether a leaky pipe could be handled by our talented groundskeeper or best fixed by a licensed plumber.
